Pedestrian struck by train

A pedestrian was hit by a train today around 11 a.m. in the area of Couchie Memorial Drive and Main Street West.The North Bay Police Service, North Bay Fire and Emergency Services, District of Nipissing Paramedic Services, Anishinabek Police Service, Nipissing First Nation Fire and Emergency Services, and North Bay OPP responded the collision.Two individuals were transported to hospital; one with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and one for precautionary medical care.
