OPP DIGEST: Careless driving charge laid in bypass collision

A 62-year-old North Bay man was charged with careless driving following a single-vehicle collision at the Highways 11/17 Bypass and Fisher Street at 2:26 am Sunday.
Ontario Provincial Police say the motorist was southbound on the Bypass merging onto Fisher Street at a high rate of speed and lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle rolled, crossing Fisher Street, and landed on the Fisher Street offramp facing west.
