Ontario classrooms to ban cellphones

Ontario elementary and secondary school students won’t be allowed to bring their cellphones into classrooms, Education Minister Lisa Thompson has announced.
The ban will not apply to cellphone use for educational, health and medical purposes or as support for those students with special needs.
