O’Gorman takes Gabor crown

Timmins O’Gorman defeated Notre Dame of Sudbury 52-42 to take the gold medal at the 61st Arthur Gabor Classic Basketball Tournament in North Bay on the weekend.
Forty-eight teams competed in senior and junior divisions at the tournament, formerly known as the Tomahawk Classic.
GL Roberts of Oshawa defeated LoEllen 64-49 to take the junior crown.
In the senior silver bracket, Franco-Cite Patriotes outplayed the West Ferris Trojans in the last two minutes for a come-from-behind 55-49 victory
