North Bay school evacuated after gas line break

W.J. Fricker students were relocated to Laurentian Learning Centre this afternoon due to a potential gas leak.
Parents were notified at about 2:30 p.m. of the incident via email.
The Near North District School Board stated in the email that a matter has been investigated and “we now have confirmation that there is a broken gas line on the roof at W.J. Fricker.”
