North Bay resident escapes house fire

Tracy Roy said his spare bedroom mattress exploded when he picked up a blanket that was smoldering on it.
The Trout Lake Road resident escaped a house fire Friday morning shortly after 9 a.m.
Roy said he was sleeping when he was awoken by the smell of smoke.
