North Bay firefighters getting $505,000 in equipment

North Bay city staff approved nearly $600,000 in spending under delegated powers during the lame duck period of council that followed October’s municipal election.
The lion’s share of the spending is related to the award of a contract worth approximately $505,000 for the provision of new self-contained breathing apparatus for city firefighters.
