North Bay election results challenged

A North Bay man has filed an application in Superior Court of Justice challenging the results of the Oct. 22 municipal election.
In documents filed Friday, Mark Shannon is asking the court to determine if the election was valid, and asks City Clerk Karen McIsaac to be ordered to retail all ballots and other documents and materials related to the election beyond the statutory 120 days.
The application is being made under the Municipal Election Act.
A hearing on the application will be held Feb. 1
