North Bay and area students test their skills

The future of skilled trades and technology were in the spotlight Saturday when dozens of secondary school students from across the region competed at Canadore College.
Students competed in carpentry, culinary arts, TV and video production, and welding. The Skills Ontario competition was one of seven held across the province, with the top three finishers in each event becoming eligible to compete at the 30th Skills Ontario Competition May 6-8 at the Toronto Congress Centre. More than 35,000 spec
