Near North District School Board bracing for more funding cuts

The Near North District School Board will see a reduction of $307,000 in funding following the provincial education cuts announced last week.
The $307,000 is part of a $25 million cut in education programs the Ford government is implementing this year while it grapples with a massive deficit.
Board chairman Jay Aspin said he’s surprised the cuts were so “moderate”, however school boards have to brace for further reductions.
