Motorist slapped with $615 fine for using cellphone to record traffic collision
It’s an expensive piece of video.
North Bay Ontario Provincial Police charged a 25-year-old motorist with holding a hand held device while operating a motor vehicle this morning.
Police said officers were conducting traffic control at a collision on Highway 17 at Jocko Point Road when a motorist was spotted driving while recording the scene with his cellphone.
Police issued a $615 fine and upon conviction a three-day licence suspension.,
