Medical emergency occurred ‘incredibly fast,’ inquest told

An Ontario Provincial Police sergeant admitted he was surprised how quickly a traffic stop on Highway 17 turned into a race to try to save a man’s life.
Sgt. Brent Turner told a coroner’s inquest Monday the medical emergency occurred “incredibly fast” after he pulled over a westbound vehicle in the early afternoon of Dec. 15, 2016.
