Mattress fire in North Bay townhouse

North Bay firefighters responded to a structure fire at 613 Gormanville Road shortly before 2:30 p.m.
Fire crews were on the scene in less than four minutes, according to Deputy Fire Chief Greg Saunders.
Upon arrival, Saunders said, firefighters were greeted by the tenants of the home who were able to inform them that, thanks to the early notification of the danger by working smoke alarms, everyone was able to safely evacuate the home.
