Man dies in hospital 11 days after arrest

Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police have called in the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) to investigate the death of a man who was arrested March 4.
OPP say officers stopped a vehicle in Armour Township and, as a result of police investigation, both the driver and passenger were arrested.
While in custody at the Almaguin Highlands OPP detachment, the passenger, a 54-year-old man from Armour Township, went into medical distress and was brought to hospital.
