Highway 17 remains closed at Bissett Creek

Highway 17 between Bissett Creek and Deep River will not reopen today, according to the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.
In a release Wednesday, the ministry said a blocked culvert remains under nine metres of water, preventing ministry staff from completing an assessment of the culvert.
The highway was closed Monday due to washed-out shoulders and embankments.
Travellers are to continue to use a detour route on Highway 60 through Algonquin Provincial Park.
