Grant big boost for North Stars

Carley Tucker was all smiles Thursday as the North Bay and Area Community Foundation announced its list of grants for the year.
Tucker, who plays defence with the North Bay North Stars special needs hockey team, was particularly proud of the fact that in this, her third year with they team, the North Stars recorded a perfect season, winning all of their games.
It’s been a good year for her, as well, making new friends both on the team and with players on other teams they’ve faced.
