Firefighters ink 6-year deal with city

The City of North Bay has reached a new collective agreement with the North Bay Professional Fire Fighters Association – the first time in 20 years the contract has not gone to arbitration.
The new deal, retroactive to Jan. 1, 2015, expires Dec. 13, 2020.
Council agreed to the deal at Tuesday night’s meeting. The association ratified the deal earlier this week.
