Empire Living staff credited for their response during fire

Staff members at the Empire Living Center are being credited for their professionalism following a fire in tenant’s room Thursday night.North Bay Fire and Emergency Services say a registered practical nurse and other staff who were on duty at the time not only detected the fire and called 911, but safely evacuated tenants from a wing of the building.
