Election challenge withdrawn

A court case challenging the validity of the Oct. 22 municipal election results has been withdrawn, according to the City of North Bay.
A hearing had been scheduled at the North Bay Courthouse April 10.
In a release issued Friday afternoon, the city said it has received notification the issue has been withdrawn.
The application, filed in January by North Bay resident Mark Shannon under the Municipal Elections Act, also asked that City Clerk Karen McIsaac be ordered to retain all ballots and othe
