Economy rebounds after contraction with 0.5 per cent growth in April: StatCan

OTTAWA — Statistics Canada says the economy rebounded in April with 0.5 per cent growth in real gross domestic product.The agency says strong results from the oil and gas sector helped power the economy at the start of the second quarter.
