Drugs, handgun seized on Highway 17 W

A North Bay man and woman face drug and weapon charges following a vehicle search Saturday morning on Highway 17 West.
Police seized a .45-calibre handgun, 246 grams of cocaine, 54 grams of crystal meth, 10.9 grams of methamphetamine pills, four oxycodone pills, two hydro morphine pills and two codeine contin pills. The total street value of the drugs seized is estimated at $38,355
Also seized was $1,270 dollars in Canadian currency.
