Demolition underway on Lakeshore

Demolition got underway Monday on a long-vacant former bingo hall and one-time restaurant outside the North Bay Mall on Lakeshore Drive. Management at the mall indicated earlier this month that the demolition work will make way for a new Jiffy Lube, which is expected to be constructed in the spring.
