Defenceman Teemu Kivihalme signs with Toronto Maple Leafs

TORONTO — The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed defenceman Teemu Kivihalme to a one-year, entry-level contract. The 23-year-old had nine goals and 21 assists in 60 games with Karpat of the Finnish league this past season.
