Challenge against North Bay election results adjourned

A hearing on the validity of the Oct. 22 municipal election results has been adjourned to March 1.
Mark Shannon filed an application in Superior Court of Justice last month asking the court to determine if the election was valid.
The challenge asked that City Clerk Karen McIsaac be ordered to retain all ballots and other documents and materials related to the election beyond the statutory 120 days.
The application is being made under the Municipal Election Act.
