Callander Fire Chief rings alarm bells

The results could have been catastrophic.
In the last two weeks, the Callander Fire Department responded to two separate carbon monoxide alarm calls where faulty appliances were emitting CO in the residence.
“In both of these cases if these families didn’t have working CO alarms it could have been a significant tragedy,” said Callander Fire Chief Todd Daley.
“Situations like these just reinforce the importance of these alarms.”
