Bail hearing set for man charged in Renee Sweeney case

Robert Steven Wright, 39, charged in the killing of Renee Sweeney in 1998, will have a Superior Court bail hearing Feb. 19-21.
The dates were announced by defence lawyer Michael Venturi in video bail remand court Thursday at the Sudbury Courthouse.
The Greater Sudbury native is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Sweeney, a 23-year-old Laurentian University student, Jan. 27, 1998, at an adult video store on Paris Street where she was working.
