Bad weather heading North Bay's way

A “significant” winter storm is expected this afternoon into Friday night in North Bay, Powassan, Mattawa and West Nipissing.
A Colorado low tracking toward Ontario will bring a mixed bag of weather. Regions from Sault Ste. Marie to North Bay may see five to 10 centimetres of snow and ice pellet accumulation before precipitation changes to rain overnight. There also is a threat of a few hours of freezing rain this afternoon or evening.
