Application for court ruling on North Bay election withdrawn

North Bay has received notification that an application seeking a court ruling on the validity of the Oct. 22 municipal election results has been withdrawn, the city reports.
A hearing scheduled for April 10 in the Superior Court of Justice will not proceed.
The application, which was filed in January by North Bay resident Mark Shannon under the Municipal Elections Act, also asked that the city clerk be ordered to retain all ballots and other documents and materials related to the election beyon
