Angler makes "appalling" discovery on Lake Nipissing

Murray Byers was appalled by what he discovered on the south shore on Lake Nipissing Wednesday.
“We were pulling off an ice shack and I noticed garbage on the lake where a local tourist operator was operating from this winter,” he told The Nugget Thursday.
“As I got closer, I noticed there was a significant amount of waste and debris left on the ice. It was appalling.”
Someone had dumped ashtrays, plastic bags, beer cans, an assortment of fishing equipment, like nets and
