153 walk for The Gathering Place on 'Coldest Night'

153 walkers gathered at Ecole secondaire catholique Algonquin Saturday evening for the 6th annual Coldest Night of the Year in North Bay.
Two-, five- and 10-kilometre walks were held to raise money for The Gathering Place, North Bay’s community soup kitchen.
Participants had raised more than $35,000 at the time of the walk toward the $50,000 goal, with more donations being calculated.
