Tick exposures more than double 3-year average in New Brunswick

New Brunswick public health says exposure to ticks is more than double the average this year, and so far there are already more cases of tick-borne anaplasmosis than in all of 2025. Mount Allison University tick researcher Vett Lloyd says tick-borne illnesses are growing across Canada, and especially in the Maritimes.
