No time off: 40% of Canadians not using all vacation time

A 2026 survey conducted by recruitment firm Robert Half, found that at least 40 per cent of Canadian workers don’t use all the paid time off they are allotted every year. Many are holding on to their vacation time in case they need it in the future, others feel that if they step away from their jobs they won't be able to catch up when they return.
