Woman arrested for lighting small fire in Vernon 

A woman was arrested and remains in custody after allegedly setting fire to property at Kin Beach in Vernon Monday.
Police received a report of a possible arson at Kin Beach on Tronson Road Aug. 10 around 2:45 p.m.Information provided to police was that a woman was seen setting fire to a newspaper box at the beach and then walking away.
An RCMP Police Dog Service Team was in the area at the time and quickly located a woman matching the description of the suspect.She was arrested and taken into c
