VIU Mariners’ soccer teams make pitch for PacWest postseason in 2026

Vancouver Island University soccer teams have both hit the pitch with visions of making the playoffs this season.
Both women’s and men’s Mariners teams opened the 2026 regular season earlier this month in North Vancouver against the Capilano University Blues – a respective 3-0 win and 1-1 draw – and played their home openers on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Q’unq’inuqwstuxw Stadium – both scored 3-1 wins over the Douglas College Royals.
