‘This makes it real’: Tour de Rock team presented with official jerseys in Saanich

Seven months of gruelling training culminated in a single piece of fabric on Friday (Sept. 11) as the 2026 Tour de Rock team slipped into their official riding jerseys.
The presentation at Camosun College marked one of the final milestones before the 22-person team departs on Sept. 19.
They will embark on a 14-day, 1,200-kilometre cycling journey across Vancouver Island to raise funds for childhood cancer research and support programs.
