Run in Nanaimo honouring Terry Fox set for this weekend

The Legacy of Terry Fox will live on this weekend with a cancer research fundraising walk in Nanaimo.
Terry Fox, an 18-year-old from Coquitlam, B.C. embarked on his Marathon of Hope on the other side of the country (Newfoundland) in April 1980, but it was cut short due to a recurrence of cancer in Sept. 1980 – he died on June, 28, 1981.
