It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roselyn Cathryn Barbara Mandalik (née Jaenisch), a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, nurse, and friend. Roselyn was born January 20, 1945, in Jablonz, Czechoslovakia. During the Second World War, she lost her father and four brothers. In 1951, she and her mother, Henrietta, immigrated to Canada and began a new life on the East Coast, eventually settling in Powell River.
