Regional District of Nanaimo unveils new fire training centre

The Regional District of Nanaimo has officially opened its new regional fire training building, located at the Nanoose Bay firehall.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on July 27 attended by Area E (Nanoose Bay) director Bob Rogers, Area G (Englishman River, San Pareil, French Creek, Little Qualicum, Dashwood) director Lehann Wallace, District of Lantzville mayor Mark Swain, Nanoose Bay Fire Department deputy fire chief Denis Holme and Lantzville Fire Rescue fire chief Neil Rukus.
