RCMP sergeant details weapon search in Grand Forks manslaughter trial

An RCMP crime scene manager continued his testimony on Aug.18 in a Grand Forks area manslaughter case.
The accused, 47-year-old Sean Tiessen, is claiming self-defence. He is facing one count of manslaughter in the death of Joshua Lockwood, 33, following an incident that took place at a home shared by the two and Lockwood’s girlfriend, Keera Roberts, at midnight on April 16, 2023.
The trial began Aug. 10 in Rossland Supreme Court, with jury selection completed the following day.
