Rainfall warning: Sooke to Kyuquot could see 100 mm of rain Monday

The west coast of Vancouver Island from the southernmost tip to nearly the top can expect heavy rain Monday.Up to 100 mm is expected to fall from late morning to Tuesday (Sept. 29) from Sooke to north of Kyuquot, according to Environment Canada. A robust frontal system will gradually move across the Island, with heavy rain beginning late in the morning. This frontal system will also bring strong and gusty westerly winds over night.
