Preliminary work on $165-million sewer project on Departure Bay Road begins soon

The more people know about the upcoming major sewer project along Departure Bay Road, the better, according to James Haddou.
Haddou, the Regional District of Nanaimo’s manager of capital projects delivery, was answering questions from the public at an information session on the approximately $165 million Departure Bay Forcemain and Pump Station Project that was held under a tent on Departure Bay Beach on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
