Port Hardy-mid coast ferry sailings cancelled until September

Ferry sailings between Port Hardy and the mid- and north-coast have been cancelled into September.
BC Ferries announced the cancellations on Monday Aug. 17, saying that they were due to an issue affecting the vessel’s stern tube shaft seal. Sailings affected are between Bear Cove in Port Hardy, McLoughlin Bay in Bella Bella, Shearwater, Ocean Falls and Bella Coola.
