Parksville council considers temporary modular winter shelter

Parksville council is considering a temporary 10-mat seasonal shelter on an empty lot on Pioneer Crescent.
Council heard a presentation by Shayla Day, CEO of DayHomes, who said if approved the pilot project would see pre-booked guests stay for a seasonal term of up to seven months.
