Pair of bald eagle carcasses found near Transfer Beach in Ladysmith

For Mark Evans, it was a most unwelcome discovery.
Evans, visiting Transfer Beach in Ladysmith on Nov. 14, spotted the carcasses of a pair of bald eagles.
“I was disturbed to find the carcasses of two bald eagles that had been dumped beside the gravel parking lot,” said Evans.
He said the carcasses were found toward the back of gravel parking lot, furthest from the fence on the left side as you enter the parking lot from the road.
