New washrooms at Maffeo Sutton Park could be completed by spring 2028

A new gender-neutral restroom and amenities building is in the works for Maffeo Sutton Park.
City staff presented preliminary plans for the facility to the Special Advisory Committee on Accessibility and Inclusiveness, Wednesday, Feb. 18., to get feedback from committee members.
Payton Carter, city parks and open space planner, said more than 350 events are held at Maffeo Sutton Park annually and more than 18,000 visitors on Canada Day alone.
