Nanaimo RCMP reminds drivers and students of road rules

Schools reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 8, and Nanaimo RCMP wants drivers to know that traffic enforcement around schools will soon be beefed up to keep kids and the public safe.
RCMP officers, and Speed Watch volunteers will be conducting enforcement and education initiatives in and around school zones to promote safe driving behaviours and enhance student safety when classes begin, according to a press release.
