Nanaimo RCMP arrest two for theft from downtown liquor store

Nanaimo RCMP have arrested two people on at least nine charges related to theft from the BCLiquor location at the Port Place Shopping Centre.
Reserve Const. Gary O’Brien, the media relations officer for the Nanaimo RCMP, said the man and woman who were arrested were unhoused individuals, and they have been remanded in police custody until they appear in court, which is scheduled for Sept. 29.
