Nanaimo Child Development Centre begins fundraising campaign for new play space

The Nanaimo Child Development Centre has begun a fundraising campaign to build its long-anticipated new outdoor-play space at its location on Nelson Street.
Stephanie Schweigert, the NCDC’s lead facilitator of its Drop-In Community Playgroup program, said the centre hopes to raise $50,000 for its new playground during an ongoing six-week campaign that ends on Oct. 1.
