LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Nanaimo is a lovely community

To the editor,
What a lovely community Nanaimo is!
My wife and adult children planned our first family vacation in several years. All of it on Vancouver Island, with Nanaimo being our first stop. Honestly I’d never heard of it. Now I can’t wait to return. It’s stunningly beautiful, with friendly people (other than the grouchy girls with a grouchier dog on Saysutshun) and an authentic outdoorsy vibe.
