Janet Winton of Nanaimo passed peacefully of cancer on November 28, 2025, held close by her family.
Jan (née McArthur) was born in Falkirk, Scotland on May 16, 1942, and grew up in Glasgow with her four siblings: Bunty (Jimmy), Harry (Carol), Peter (Sheila) and Douglas (Anne).
She and Norman Winton, the love of her life and husband of 61 years, lived around the world in Western Australia, Edinburgh, St. Albert, Belize, Penang, Malaysia, and Barbados. Along the way, they
